Dr. Shari Burack Provides Personalized Treatment

Dr. Shari Burack grew up in Somerset, NJ, where she has been a practicing dentist since 1987. She is excited and happy to be part of the Art of Dentistry family.

Dr. Burack obtained her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Douglass College (part of Rutgers) and then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University Dental School in Atlanta. She’s always eager to learn more about dentistry. That’s why she has active memberships with the American Dental Association, The New Jersey Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Somerset Study Club.

Throughout her career, Dr. Burack has enjoyed many aspects of dentistry. She appreciates its importance in a patient’s overall physical and mental health. Every patient can expect her to tailor her treatment approaches to their specific dental needs.

In her free time, Dr. Burack enjoy all types of music, being outdoors with nature, exercising, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her dog, Max.

My experience at The Art of Dentistry is always wonderful. I went for a teeth cleaning with Dorothy. this week. Dorothy is the best Dental Hygienist I have ever had. It is like going to a spa when you enter this office. I was also in a great mood because Dr Berry has been treating me for sleep apnea and his recommendations are all working!! Nothing like finally have a great night’s sleep.

I see Dr. George. He is so knowledgeable and caring. I drive almost 2 hrs each way to go to the Art of Dentistry. They take their time making sure they do everything to perfection. Something as simple as a filling, Dr. George makes sure he doesn’t miss anything. He takes his time and is very gentle. Also taking time to stop and make sure I’m doing OK. Making sure if I feel I need “a break”. All the staff are wonderful. Very friendly. It means alot knowing I am in good hands with anyone of the dentist there. I will continue to drive almost 2 hrs each way, just for the peace of mind they are doing everything perfectly.

I typically see Dr. Dean and Michelle regularly, but my family and I have seen other people in the office who are equally skilled, personable and caring. I have seen my primary dentist, Dr. George for many years and he is caring, precise and highly experienced. Over the last few years I have seen Dr. Chencharick who specializes in bone grafts, root canals and soon implants and found him to have a highly technical understanding of these specialties.
